Welcome to the School of Nursing at McMaster. It is my privilege and honor to serve as Interim Associate Dean, Health Sciences and Director of the School of Nursing (2017 – 2018). At McMaster, we are committed to the education of highly skilled professional nurses who are at the heart of health care— from the hospital bedside to the community. New research chair honours Heather Arthur

July 21, 2017 - A legacy is being set for Heather Arthur, a McMaster University nurse scientist who pioneered cardiac rehabilitation research in Canada. An endowed research chair is being established in her name.

July 11, 2017 - Health Canada has renewed support for the next five years for the Clinical Frailty Network, , a centre of excellence dedicated to improving care for frail elderly Canadians.

Research grant will enable expansion of training program for seniors

July 11, 2017 - Post-doctoral fellow Dr. Sarah Neil-Sztramko is the Principal Investigator on a new grant that will permit researchers to evaluate and expand a tablet training program for older adults.

Nursing graduand dedicated to children

June 19, 2017- Nikki Berza will graduate from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her future has already started, as she is working as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at McMaster Children’s Hospital.
