Jenny Ploeg wins award for excellence in research

Dr. Jenny Ploeg, professor emeritus of the School of Nursing, is the 2021 recipient of the Canadian Association on Gerontology’s “Recognition Award for Excellence in Research on Unpaid Caregiving: In Honour of Neena Chappell”.
The award was first presented in 2019. It is granted every two years to “a scholar or student who has demonstrated excellence in conducting research on unpaid care in Canada (e.g., a published peer-reviewed paper, book chapter, book, policy document, etc.), and must be recognized by CAG members as having demonstrated excellence in conducting research on unpaid care in Canada evidenced by letters of support.”
