New textbook features chapters by McMaster nursing faculty

The Role of the Nurse Educator in Canada is a new textbook published by Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing.
Dr. Bernice Downey is an assistant professor in the McMaster School of Nursing and Indigenous Health Initiative Lead, Faculty of Health Science. She wrote the chapter: Truth and reconciliation: A path for reform in nursing education.
Dr. Janet Landeen is a recently retired faculty member of the School of Nursing. She wrote the chapter: Nursing curriculum: Development and design.
The textbook’s editors are Karin Page-Cutrara and Patricia Bradley.
From the publisher: This book, a resource for educators in all stages of academic careers, was created with the idea of supporting the transition of nurses moving from practice environments to academia.
