Courses

Not all courses are offered every year. Additional courses are offered through the Health Research Methodology Program. Nursing courses are outlined in the Nursing Graduate Course booklet and the School of Graduate Studies Calendar. Appropriate courses may be selected from other departments in consultation with the supervisory committee. Please consult the Nursing Graduate Program office for any additional information.

 

REQUIRED COURSES FOR ALL GRADUATE STUDENTS:

All graduate students, including part-time students, must complete:

  • SGS 101 — Academic Research Integrity and Ethics and
  • SGS 201 — Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act - (AODA) Training

Note: A graduate student may NOT obtain a graduate degree at McMaster without having passed these courses.

Note: All Nursing graduate students must complete Indigenous Health and Cultural Safety in the first term of their program

You must enroll in a class in each term, or the system will automatically withdraw you from the program.

If you are not taking a class you must enroll a "PLACECARD HOLDER", SGS 700, in each term.
