Lynda Bentley-Poole is joining a select group this year: McMaster University’s Quarter-Century Club.

Bentley-Poole is a full-time assistant professor and teaching professor with the School of Nursing.

The School of Nursing congratulates her on her 25 years of service with the McMaster University.

“Lynda Bentley-Poole is an outstanding educator who has impacted thousands of BScN students over the years. We are so grateful to Lynda for her contributions to our school, educational programs, and our learners who mastered problem-based learning with her guidance,” says Dr. Sandra Carroll, vice-dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, executive director, School of Nursing.

“I'm proud to have reached 25 years of service, and May 2022 also marks my 40th year as a graduate of the McMaster BScN Program (1982), and the start of my career as a RN.  This is a milestone year for me,” says Bentley-Poole.

Retired school members Dr. Jenny Ploeg and Elaine Shuhaiber also reached their 25th year milestones in the past year. The university will be celebrating this online Milestone Celebration event on January 20, 2022. For more information see: Quarter Century Club.
