Maria Pratt takes on academic resources lead

The School of Nursing is pleased to announce that Dr. Maria Pratt has taken on the role of academic resources lead for the School of Nursing. She will work with the School’s vice-dean and the assistant deans of the undergraduate and graduate programs to determine teaching needs each term, and will identify and hire instructors and teaching assistants for the courses.
Dr. Pratt began her teaching career at McMaster University in 2008 as a sessional instructor in the BScN program. She is currently an assistant professor and faculty lead for the BScN Accelerated Stream. Her clinical nursing background includes adult medical-surgical, critical care, emergency nursing, and women’s health.
