Mourning Charlotte Noesgaard
May 20, 2021
It is with sadness that I share the news of the recent passing of Charlotte Noesgaard, a well-known retired Associate Professor from the School of Nursing. Charlotte was a valued member of our School and McMaster University and well known for her liveliness and smile that could light up a room. Many of you had the pleasure of working and learning from Charlotte during her 27 years with the School of Nursing.
As a Teaching Professor, Charlotte was recognized for educational expertise in pedagogy, evaluation, reflection, and professional practice teaching. Within the Faculty of Health Science, Charlotte was associated with the Program for Faculty Development as a Director of the Mentorship Program. Within the healthcare community, Charlotte was President of RNAO and Chair of Grand River Hospital Board among many other accomplishments.
Our sincere condolences go out to Charlotte’s family. A public notice is expected later this week with details about a service planned for June.
