Diana Sherifali wins supervision award

Dr. Diana Sherifali has received the Faculty of Health Sciences post-doctoral fellowship supervision award. Presented annually, the award is “for faculty members in the Faculty of Health Sciences who have demonstrated outstanding mentorship/supervision of postdoctoral fellows. Nominees cannot receive this award if they have received one within the past 3 years.”
Sherifali was nominated by her post-doctoral fellow Dr. Megan Racey. “Receiving this award is such an honour. It has and continues to be such a pleasure to work with Dr. Megan Racey. I’m very humbled by her gesture and this award,” says Sherifali.
Dr. Nancy Carter is the assistant dean, nursing graduate program. “Dr. Diana Sherifali provides excellent supervision to Masters and PhD nursing students. Her program of research is of interest to nurses who want to be clinicians, educators or researchers,” says Carter.
