Dr. Bernice Downey is one of seven recipients of the 2019 Leadership in Teaching and Learning fellowships and Priority Areas for Learning and Teaching (PALAT) grants. McMaster’s Paul R. MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Excellence in Teaching presented the awards at a ceremony on campus in early June.

The grant, which is for $15,000 over two years, will fund the project, “Indigenous Health Curriculum Development: Co-creating a Harmonized Process for Student Participation”.
