McMaster nursing researchers in the Top 25 list

Dr. Maureen Dobbins and Dr. Denise Bryant-Lukosius are being recognized for their research in three Top 25 lists published in the Journal of Advanced Nursing (JAN) this month.

Dobbins  appears in three lists in the article, “Research citation analysis of Canadian Nursing Academics: 9-year follow-up”. She appears in:

-“Top 25 Canadian Nursing Faculty based on number of career citations for all published journal articles”

-“Top 25 Canadian Nursing Faculty based on number of career citations for 1st-authored journal articles”

-Top 25 most highly cited articles 1st-authored by Canadian Nursing Faculty” for her publication, "School‐based physical activity programs for promoting physical activity and fitness in children and adolescents aged 6‐18" in Cochrane Data-base of Systematic Reviews, 2009(2), 1–260. https://doi.org/10.1002/14651858.CD007651

Bryant-Lukosius is also on the list for “Top 25 most highly cited articles 1st-authored by Canadian Nursing Faculty” for her publication, “Advanced practice nursing roles: Development, implementation and evaluation” (2004) Advanced practice nursing roles: Development, implementation and evaluation. Journal of Advanced Nursing, 48, 519–529. The author of the JAN study explains that, “This table displays the important, perhaps seminal, papers that have influenced the empirical efforts of many researchers across scientific disciplines.”
