The class of 1968 BScN held their 50th Nursing Reunion at Niagara-on-the-Lake on May 22 & 23.
Louise Scott submitted this report on their behalf:
There were fourteen members of our class able to come for the reunion. Members of our class came from as far away as Australia, the US , our Canadian Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and, of course, various cities in Ontario.
Our reunion was kicked off with a welcoming and delicious lunch at the home of our classmate, Florence. We then spent two lovely days in NOTL, some attending various productions of the Shaw Festival, while others toured the vineyards and the very picturesque surrounding area. Many hours were enjoyed reconnecting, reminiscing and updating one another on our lives and families, including fond memories of our four colleagues who are no longer with us.
On our first night, we had dinner at a private venue where the attached picture was taken. On our second day, the weather was perfect for us to walk, talk, and even wine and dine outside.
It was agreed by all, that this was the most enjoyable and memorable reunion. We will always be forever connected by our registration in the Nursing Science Program at McMaster in the year 1964.
