Dr. Ruth Chen is the Assistant Dean, Academic Resources & Department Education Coordinator (DEC). She oversees the hiring of instructors and clinical faculty. “Our Part-Time (sessional) Instructors are vital to our delivery of the McMaster Mohawk Conestoga Collaborative BScN Program and the Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Graduate Program,” says Chen. “Additionally, we have approximately 100 Clinical Faculty appointees tutoring professional practice students every semester. Together, the Part-Time Instructors and the Clinical Faculty provide students in the School of Nursing with rich and professionally-relevant learning opportunities every year. This annual Appreciation Tea is one small way we can acknowledge their valuable contributions."
