Lynda Bentley Poole


Lynda Bentley Poole first joined McMaster in 1996. Presently, she is a full-time Assistant Professor and Teaching Professor with the School of Nursing. She has a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) from McMaster University, and a Master of Science (Nursing) from the University of Toronto.

Lynda Bentley Poole's primary research interests include strategies to facilitate student success and innovation in curricular design in nursing education.


Lynda Bentley Poole has taught in all levels and streams of the BScN program, with a particular focus on the Nursing Concepts in Health and Illness courses (all levels) and the Professional Nursing Practice courses in Levels 3 and 4.
