Eileen Hanna

Bio

Eileen Hanna is a retired faculty member. When ​she graduated from the McMaster BScN program in 1990, she was fortunate to first work with Alba DiCenso, Liz Rideout, Ann Mohide and Jackie Roberts. This wonderful group solidified her love of teaching Problem-Based Learning at McMaster, but also encouraged her to seek a variety of opportunities in life. As a result, Eileen has worked with the CPSO, the Faculty of Medicine, McMaster Continuing Medical Education program and was head hunted to become vice president of an international education company situated in Toronto.  Concurrently, while working on these various projects, she was a part time tutor and in 2010 accepted a full-time CLA position in the school of nursing.

Research

Eileen Hanna has been fortunate to be involved in a variety of research projects. Most focus on quality of patient care and optimal teaching & learning for students; others address interprofessional issues and succession planning in the health care field.
