Graduation & Entry to Practice

Graduation

Graduation and Convocation Processes are completed by the Office of the Registrar.
Find more information for graduating students here.

Even if you do not intend to participate in the Convocation ceremonies, it’s important to complete the online Graduation Information Centre (GIC) form to let the Registrar’s Office know how you would like to receive your diploma (i.e. have it mailed or plan to pick it up in person).

You may access the GIC through Mosaic > Student Centre > Graduation and Convocation.

Entry to Practice

Choose where you would like to Register as a Nurse

The School of Nursing BScN Program Office automatically provides the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) with the names and contact information for all Level 4 students who are expected to complete their BScN degree based on the timelines below.

Find helpful information in the CNO Registration Guide.

Notification #1 notifies the CNO that a student is enrolled in the required courses and is anticipated to complete all program requirements at the end of the term.

*It is very important for your biographical information in Mosaic to be accurate so the correct information is shared with the CNO. Mosaic > Student Centre > Personal Information

Please ensure you have completed the Consent 'Quiz' on Avenue to Learn in CNO Consent. Information is sent to student via email from Academic Advising about this quiz in early Fall.

Once the CNO receives this information and enters it on their end, they will send out an email notifying the student to sign up to the CNO online portal.
DO NOT sign up prior to receiving the email, this will only delay the CNO with your information.

Notification #2 notifies the CNO that a student has successfully completed all academic program requirements and is approved for graduation at the next convocation ceremony.

Any further communication from the CNO to Student will be done through the online portal.
