Ready, Set, Nurse! BNSAS celebrates second cohort with end of program celebration

The Black Nurses and Students Allied for Success (BNSAS) celebrated the completion of their second cohort on July 13, 2024 at McMaster University in the Black Student Success Centre lounge. 

The “Ready, Set, Nurse!” celebration was focused on professional development. The event included guest speakers, such as the Canadian Black Nurses Association (CBNA) Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Ovie Onagbeboma, and the CBNA Director, Mental Health, Outreach and Strategy, Shanique Edwards. There were also opportunities for free professional headshots, workshops, giveaways, and much more.
